Hello my lovely foodie members, welcome back to another blog post and I am excited to share with you this amazing snack recipe.

This is a new discovery and the name is banana milk puff puff.

It is delicious, lovely and all you have to do is to trust the process for an amazing outcome.

Let’s dive right in with the list of ingredients needed.

Puff puff ingredients.

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 bananas
  • 7g instant yeast
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 3 cups cooking oil

Yield : 30 balls of puff puff

The easiest way to make the best banana milk puff puff

  • Pour 1/4 cup of warm water in a bowl then add 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Mix well to combine before adding instant yeast then mix well to combine
  • Cover and set aside to allow it rise.
  • Peel off the banana skin
  • Blend all the bananas with 1/4 cup water till smooth
  • Pour all dry ingredients – flour, sugar and salt- into a bowl
  • Mix to combine then make a hole in the middle
  • Pour the wet ingredients – milk, activated yeast, blended banana past and 3 tablespoons water.
  • Combine very well, cover the bowl and allow to rise for 1 hour.
  • After one hour, check the puff puff batter to see if it has risen
  • Heat up cooking oil in a frying pan until it is very hot
  • Wash hands well and mix the batter to remove excess air
  • Gently scoop the batter in small balls into the hot oil
  • Reduce the heat of the cooking temperature to medium so that the batter can cook well from the inside
  • Fry both sides till golden brown
  • Then scoops puff puff out of the hot oil and into a basket to drain off excess oil.
  • Repeat the process until all the batter is fried.

Banana milk puff puff is ready to be enjoyed.
